The spindle motor runs at the highest speed and is the most expensive motor on the machine. When symptoms such as vibration, overheating or bearing noise are ignored, the shaft, bearings and windings suffer permanent damage. In our laboratory we address the mechanical and electronic faults of spindle motors together and deliver them under warranty after testing under load.
We dismantle the motor and check its bearings, winding resistance and insulation, encoder and balance. Where needed we replace bearings, rewind the windings, perform precision balancing and calibrate the encoder. We also repair the spindle drive and test the motor together with its drive under load on original simulators, verifying vibration and temperature values so the problem is solved in the lab, not on the shop floor.

The most common causes are worn bearings, lost balance or a damaged shaft. Correct diagnosis requires dismantling the motor in the lab and checking balance and bearings.
